Our take
I would choose Tower Franca Hotel for its central position and its practical package. Free parking and Wi-Fi, a gym and a buffet breakfast with local treats cover the basics, and bars and restaurants are a short walk away. Some rooms have a spa bath, which is worth asking for. A rating of 8.1 is good rather than outstanding, and no pool is listed, so I would look elsewhere for a leisure-heavy stay.
- ✓If you appreciate extra comfort, ask for a room with a spa bath for a more relaxing stay.
- ✓Take advantage of the central location to explore the nearby bars and restaurants on foot.
- ✓Enjoy the buffet breakfast each morning, it's a great way to sample local cakes and breads.
