Our take
Hotel Hetropolis is a straightforward, well-rated base in São Bernardo do Campo. Its strengths are practical rather than showy: family rooms, hypoallergenic bedding, walk-in showers, a daily buffet breakfast and free private parking. It has no pool or spa, so I would book it for an efficient stay in the ABC region rather than for time spent at the hotel.
- ✓Opt for a ground-floor unit if you prefer easy access and walk-in showers
- ✓Take advantage of the free private parking if you're travelling with a car
- ✓Start your day with the buffet breakfast, it offers a good variety of options
