Our take
I recommend Hotel Globo Rio only to travellers who want a plain, practical hotel in São José do Rio Preto. Free parking, free WiFi, a minibar and a 24-hour front desk cover the basics. Its 7.7 score across 1,253 reviews is lower than many peers, so I would read recent guest comments before booking. For a pool, spa or a polished stay, I would look elsewhere.
