Our take
Hotel Michelangelo is a practical pick in São José do Rio Preto for families and pet owners. The outdoor pool, the gym, the balconies and free parking cover the essentials, and the restaurant serves local dishes. Its 7.7 rating is modest compared with some neighbours, so I would book it mainly when travelling with a pet or wanting a balcony.
