Our take
I would choose Eventos e Hospedagem São José for a family stay in Sorocaba where children come first: the indoor pool works in any weather, and the kids' club and the games room add more options. Rooms look onto the garden, a continental buffet breakfast is served daily, and parking and WiFi are free. An 8.9 rating from 1,074 reviews is excellent for a pousada. It is a calm place, so I would not choose it for a lively evening scene.
