Our take
I would book Hostel das Flores for one reason: it is 2 km from Belém's Val de Cans International Airport. Rooms are simple but private, with air-conditioning, an en-suite shower, a TV and free WiFi, and the front desk is open around the clock. For sightseeing it is less convenient, as Estação das Docas and Ver-o-Peso are about 8 km away. With a 7.6 rating, treat it as a practical airport stop.
- ✓If you're arriving late or departing early, the 24-hour front desk is a real asset
- ✓Consider using ride-sharing or taxis to reach the city center attractions quickly
- ✓Take advantage of the free WiFi to plan your daily excursions and stay connected

Why guests love itHostel das Flores is mainly useful to families for its position, 2 km from Belém's Val de Cans International Airport, which makes an early flight or a late arrival with tired children much easier. Rooms are private and air-conditioned, each with its own bathroom, a TV and free toiletries, and WiFi is free. I would not use it as a sightseeing base: Estação das Docas and the Ver-o-Peso market are about 8 km away. Parking is available. Guests rate it 7.6 from 8 reviews.
