Our take
Airport Hotel Gru does one job well: a calm night 3 km from Guarulhos International Airport, with a free shuttle and a 24-hour front desk for late arrivals. I'd choose it for a layover or an early departure rather than for exploring São Paulo, which means a separate trip by road. The buffet breakfast and family rooms make it an easy pick when travelling with children.
- ✓Take advantage of the free airport shuttle for smooth transfers to and from GRU.
- ✓Enjoy the buffet breakfast to fuel up before your flight or day of exploring.
- ✓If you're travelling with family, the dedicated family rooms offer extra comfort and space.

Why guests love itAirport Hotel Gru is 3 km from Guarulhos International Airport and runs a free shuttle, which is why I'd look at it first for families on an early flight: no taxi to arrange with tired children and luggage. Family rooms come with a private bathroom and air conditioning, and the buffet breakfast is served before the drive back to the terminal. Guests rate it 8.0 across 120 reviews.
