Our take
What I value at Slaviero Hotel Guarulhos Aeroporto is the indoor pool, fitness centre and spa, which turn a forced stopover into a usable evening. It sits 8 km from Guarulhos International Airport, so I'd use it for early flights and late arrivals rather than as a base for São Paulo. The 8.6 rating across more than 5,000 reviews is reassuring, and pets are accepted.

Why guests love itBefore or after a long-haul flight through Guarulhos, I'd book the Slaviero with children for one reason: the indoor pool, which works whatever the weather and helps after hours in a seat. The airport is 8 km away, and parents get a fitness centre and a spa and wellness area. Pets are welcome, on-site parking costs extra, and guests rate it 8.6 across 5,366 reviews, a large sample for an airport hotel.
