Our take
I would book Juma Ópera in Manaus for a comfortable city stay before or after a trip into the forest: an outdoor pool, a spa, a gym and a restaurant serving local cuisine. Elegant rooms with garden or city views suit both couples and families. The 8.7 guest score is good, though slightly below what its five stars might suggest.
- ✓Explore the spa services early in your stay to fully unwind and enjoy the wellness facilities.
- ✓Make sure to try the local cuisine at the hotel's restaurant for an authentic taste of the region.
- ✓Consider a room with a garden view for a quieter, more serene experience away from city sounds.
