Our take
I recommend Hotel Enseada de Ponta Negra to families who want a self-catering apartment two minutes on foot from Ponta Negra Beach, with a year-round pool and an indoor play area. Kitchens and dining areas make longer stays easier. Rated 8.6 across 1,171 reviews, it is well liked. It is not on the sand itself, so I would look elsewhere for a direct beachfront.
