Our take
I would choose Park Plaza Moinhos for a comfortable stay in Porto Alegre where the hotel covers the basics well: a restaurant, a bar, a terrace, a fitness centre, private parking, room service and a 24-hour front desk. Pets are welcome, which I would confirm at booking. Spa and wellness facilities are listed, but the details are thin, so I would check what is on offer. An 8.7 rating from 1,551 reviews is a strong sign for a city hotel.
