Our take
Pousada Ilha da Fantasia holds a perfect 10 from 49 reviews, a rare result. It is a 4-star pousada with a swimming pool, a bar, a lounge and an outdoor seating area, plus spa and wellness facilities. Room service and breakfast in the room add a personal touch you rarely get in larger hotels. A kids' club makes it unusually well equipped for families for a property of this size. I would book it for a relaxed stay rather than a city sightseeing base.
