Our take
I would choose Hotel Modena when the priority is a comfortable, well-located stop close to São José dos Campos Airport. Family rooms give parents more space, the front desk works around the clock and express check-in and check-out save time on arrival and departure. A score of 8.2 across 986 reviews is solid for a three-star hotel. Anyone after a lively city-centre scene or a long list of on-site dining options will find it quieter and plainer than that.
- ✓Book a family room if travelling with children for extra space and comfort.
- ✓Take advantage of the express check-in and check-out for a smooth arrival and departure.
- ✓Plan to explore the surrounding countryside for a relaxing escape from the city.
