Our take
I see KANKUN Motel Sorocaba as a self-contained option for couples: the sauna, hot tub and sun terrace mean there is little reason to leave, and the restaurant, bar and coffee shop cover meals without a drive. Rooms are air-conditioned with a minibar and free WiFi, and the 24-hour front desk handles late arrivals. Families and anyone wanting a social atmosphere should choose another Sorocaba address, since only adults are admitted.

Why we love it
- The adults-only, private atmosphere
- Relaxing sauna and hot tub
- On-site Brazilian restaurant and bar
- Rooms with modern amenities and WiFi
Why guests love itKANKUN Motel Sorocaba is an adults-only address, so it is not one for families with children. For couples, the case is clear: a sauna, a hot tub and a sun terrace on site, a restaurant serving Brazilian cuisine, a bar and a coffee shop, all with free parking at the door. Guests rate it 8.2 out of 10 across 348 reviews. I would book it for a private night in Sorocaba rather than as a base for sightseeing.
