The building is the reason to book this four-star hotel: classical 1980s architecture on Bauru's main avenue, opening into a spacious marble lobby that has no equal in the city. Rooms keep the period identity with beige carpeted floors and vintage wood furnishings, fitted with air conditioning, cable television, a minibar and en suite bathrooms, and free WiFi runs throughout. Behind the dated interiors the facilities are current and unusually complete for the interior paulista, with an outdoor pool, a gym and one of only two saunas in Bauru. Two restaurants operate under the same roof, one serving a typical Brazilian salad buffet and the other barbecued specialities, and room service runs through the day for guests who arrive after the kitchens close.
